Leadership to match the moment.

I am running for the Leadership of the Progressive Conservative Party of Prince Edward Island.

PEI needs leadership to match the moment we are in. The imposition of tariffs by President Trump continues to cause painful economic uncertainty for Islanders and Canadians. Our nation faces economic and security crises. Islanders are feeling painful uncertainty. We need an experienced leader to assemble a vibrant team and deliver a new prosperity agenda for our Province. 

In my career, I’ve been fortunate to work in this Province, across Canada, and around the world. I’ve worked with business (large and small), governments, unions, farmers, fishers, health care providers, teachers, families and individuals. I've served as a mentor to students and young entrepreneurs.  I’ve experienced success and failure.  I know the importance of hard work and dedication.

I know that the greatest success comes from engaging with others and sharing ideas.  Leadership is about team building – sourcing the right knowledge and skill sets, empowering others to achieve their best, and supporting their efforts.  I have the experience to lead a transformative team of Islanders, confident in our Island, our people, and capable of achieving great things.

I care deeply about our Island and I want to see it prosper and work to make it even better - now and for the next generation. Our children and grandchildren deserve nothing less.  

It is time for a refresh of the Party -  a time for new ideas and involvement from new and existing Party members. Yes, we face unique challenges, but these challenges also offer unlimited opportunities.  

PEI is a special place, one that must be protected and enhanced. It is my home - it is our home.
